Vampire Theme Party Games And Activities #1: Either days before the party or during the party itself (sometime early on) collect from different people their all-time worst nightmare - one that perhaps plagued them for a long time. Then, allow your guests to figure out who had which nightmare. You see, it’s known that vampires haunt dreams of its victims just before they are attacked…
Vampire Theme Party Games And Activities #2: For a darker, more macabre activity (which works best with groups of guests who know each other), have each guests draw another party guest’s name out of a hat to write a eulogy for (as they are all the undead…) Now, at first you might think that this would be a real ‘downer’ of an activity…however, what you’ll find instead is that it will be very uplifting as each guest thinks of kind words to say in ‘rememberance’ of the other party guest. Make sure to limit the eulogy to one minute (or less) depending on the number of guests present.
Vampire Theme Party Games And Activities #3: For larger groups, award a prize for the reddest hair in the room (as red heads were historically thought of as the most likely candidates to turn into a vampire after they die.)
Vampire Theme Party Games And Activities #4: If you are going for more of a ‘vampire hunters’ feel, have your guests make their own wooden cross stakes. From your local hardware store, purchase the needed number of small fence stakes (usually about 1.5 feet long), unpainted. Additionally, while you are there, pick up some rough, course (but strong) rope twine. Each guest will need two pieces of the fence wood to lay in a cross fashion and several feet of the twine to wrap around the joint to secure it. It will look old and rustic…and perfect protection in Transylvania!
